So from my understanding the IP cameras will transfer the signal to DVR. and the DVR does not need to be connected to the router. and u can still Record

  12. Osman Wan Halim November 14, 2017 at 7:11 pm

how about the setting in NVR if I use power-line adapter instead of wireless?

  13. Nikky P November 14, 2017 at 7:11 pm

Your instructions were super useful, thanks. However the issue we're having is related to the Network set up which you don't cover. We've got the recent instruction manual and are following all the steps but we keep getting a Failure to connect error related to the encryption type and I think this is preventing the email setup. Any useful tip would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think i found a flaw in your video. I found that setting the grid on video detection makes no difference to area for setting off the buzzer. I set mine for the driveway close to the house, and every time a car drives by out on the street, (out of grid area) it still sets off the buzzer. I contacted the company thinking this was an out of box failure, and they were kind enough to send me another nvr. it does the same thing. So basically editing an area with grid, unless im doing something wrong, does not work. On your video, you said everything out of grid area would not set the buzzer off. but it has on 2 of these nvr units.

Can you adjust the motion sensitivity? With all of the night bugs do you get a lot of false alarms or emails? Does the sun or clouds set off the alarm?

Thanks for the prompt response – I noticed you have also responded to some other viewers – that's so nice of you. Many of the authors they just download the video and forget that. The DVR/NVR system got cheaper now so many people will get benefited and I am sure you will have many more views in future – you already have 3K plus in the last few months – I would say that's great. Little long but your video is simple to watch and well done. I would request that you please do part 2 for remote viewing setup. I could not find anywhere that describes step by step setup for remote viewing – short manual is not informative. I am still having problem to view remotely. It involves port forwarding, download some applications both on PC and Android/Iphone, Gateway/IP address setup etc to work efficiently. Should not take a long time for you to do this – perhaps just 10-15 minutes – very much look forward to seeing it. All the best for the good work you are doing for the community!!!!!

Good video – I bought this unit and having tough time viewing remotely – this youtube video do not provide how to setup remote access – very bad – he can do one for remote access setup as Part2 – it's easy to say download Essenet app but there are so many into it to view remotely _ look forward to seeing part 2 soon.
